Indurent secures planning milestone for major new logistics development in Stafford
Indurent, the leading developer, owner, and operator of industrial and logistics space across the UK, has secured a Resolution to Grant planning permission for a new c. 655,000 sq ft industrial logistics development in South Staffordshire.
The development will be delivered across two phases, with Phase 1 scheduled for completion in 2028 and Phase 2 in 2030. Once fully operational, the scheme has the potential to support the creation of approximately 880 jobs in the local area.
Located with access to Junction 13 of the M6, the new industrial and logistics hub will benefit from strong transport links. The scheme forms part of Indurent’s wider investment in Staffordshire, where the business is currently delivering or promoting c. 6 million sq ft of space, with a total investment of around £800m. Construction is planned to start in 2028.
All units will be delivered to BREEAM ‘Excellent’ standards, reflecting Indurent’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and high-quality industrial space.
“This development marks a major step in our commitment to delivering high-quality, sustainable logistics space in key UK regions. It will create hundreds of jobs, boost Staffordshire’s local economy, and provide modern, environmentally responsible facilities for our customers. The scale, connectivity and broader benefits of the project make it ideally placed to meet the evolving needs of occupiers.”
